Michael Gibb

Managing Director & Senior Financial Adviser

Michael has spent the past 20 years in the finance and advice industry, working closely with clients to understand what they truly value in a financial advice relationship.

Drawing on extensive experience across both boutique and commercial advisory firms, Michael brought his vision to life by founding Harrison York in 2016.

Since then, the business has grown rapidly, reflecting his commitment to delivering personalised, high-quality advice. He also brings deep expertise in investment management, helping clients build and manage portfolios tailored to their long-term financial goals.

He is passionate about helping clients identify what matters most to them and their families, and about crafting tailored strategies to achieve their goals. Michael recognises that every client’s situation is unique and embraces the opportunity to improve their financial wellbeing at any stage of life.

Michael and his wife, Lauren, make a strong team both at home and in business. A devoted family man, Michael enjoys spending time with their three children—Harrison, Sebastian, and Kennedy—whether on the sports fields or exploring new places together.

Lauren Gibb

Chief Financial Officer

Lauren is a fully qualified CPA accountant with over 19 years of experience across the full spectrum of accounting. She began her career as a tax accountant before moving into specialised corporate management accounting roles, working with both dynamic start-ups and established ASX-listed companies.

At Harrison York, Lauren partners with clients to design and implement tailored budgeting and cash-flow strategies, helping them gain clarity around their financial position and confidently work toward their goals.

In addition to her client work, Lauren plays a key role in shaping the strategic direction of Harrison York, ensuring the business continues to evolve and achieve its own long-term objectives.

Lauren and Michael thoroughly enjoy working together and believe their complementary strengths contribute greatly to the success of the business.

Outside of work, Lauren spends time supporting her children’s growth and excellence, proudly cheering them on across rugby, touch and cricket fields. Whether they’re travelling together to new destinations or embracing the busy rhythm of family life, she finds her greatest joy in being present for every moment of their journey.

Brooke Cooper

Senior Financial Advisor

Brooke began her career in finance in 2019 and has quickly developed a genuine passion for helping clients take control of their financial lives. She has experience across different areas of financial advice. Her time spent at a firm specialising in stockbroking, adds depth to her understanding of investment strategies. This background allows her to create personalised solutions that are tailored to each client’s goals and circumstances.

At Harrison York, Brooke is committed to building trusted relationships through open communication and practical, insightful advice, ensuring clients feel supported and empowered to make decisions that align with their long-term objectives.

Outside of work, Brooke enjoys adventures with her family and friends. Whether this is revelling in extreme sports, exploring the outdoors with her dogs, or globetrotting to new, exciting destinations, Brooke brings the same energy and enthusiasm to life as she does to helping her clients succeed.

Jess Le

Business Manager

Jess takes pride in leading the delivery of the client advice experience for Harrison York.

After completing her university studies and gaining the qualifications to become a financial adviser, Jess has built a diverse career across wealth management in roles spanning advice support, management and marketing. She now excels in managing the business, drawing on the technical and professional skills she developed throughout her career to strengthen both operations and client outcomes. This broad experience has shaped her well-rounded and client-focused approach.

Jess is deeply passionate about continually enhancing the Harrison York client experience—something she treats as a personal commitment. Seeing how quality advice can positively transform a client’s financial position is what inspires her every day.

Her positive, personable and highly professional style is consistently appreciated by both advisers and clients.

Outside the office, Jess adores spending time with her gorgeous son, Boston, and cherishes every moment with him. She also has a passion for photography and loves travelling whenever she gets the chance.

Shane Price

Mortgage Broker

Shane is a Mortgage and Finance Association approved Mortgage Broker with over 28 years in the Banking/Finance industry.

With Diploma’s held in Business (Banking and Finance) and Mortgage Broking Management as well as 15 years spent working for one of Australia’s largest lenders Shane excels in his role providing finance solutions for clients in the areas of Commercial, Residential as well as Equipment Finance.

Shane works closely with the Harrison York team to ensure that any lending is compatible with the client’s overall wealth, investment or taxation strategy. He helps clients to understand their ongoing responsibilities and the impact of any loans or debts on their overall financial goals.

In his role Shane has access to over 20 of Australia’s top lending institutions to deliver the best and most suitable solution to his clients lending needs.

Shane is happily married to his lovely wife Maree and they have three beautiful daughters.
Away from business, he enjoys golfing, sports and spending time with his family and friends.
